6.5 Creedmoor

The 6.5 Creedmoor has shown remarkably consistent performance so far. We have only used the following test ammunition and have had no problem maintaining half MOA accuracy—even with the shorter 24" MWV contour.

  • Lapua 123 gr OTM SCENAR

    EAN: 6418267103732

Other types of ammunition that have already demonstrated excellent performance with our 6.5 Creedmoor rifles include:

  • Hornady 140 gr HPBT American Gunner

    Manufacturer number: 20081488

  • Geco Target 130 gr HPBT

    Manufacturer number: 2434112

.308 Winchester

Initially, the 308 proved to be a little finicky when using Lapua ammunition. After initially considering making adjustments to the transition cone, it turned out that the exact same weapon (without changing the cartridge chamber/barrel length/contour) delivered very impressive results with ammunition from other manufacturers. At the moment, we have not yet decided on a test ammunition, as the 308 uses a variety of different twist lengths. The following types are currently in the running:

  • RWS Target Elite Plus Match 190 gr SCORION

    Manufacturer number: 2408633

  • Sellier & Bellot 175 g OTM HPBT

    Manufacturer number: V341812

  • Federal Premium 168 gr Gold Medal Sierra Matchking

    Manufacturer number: 300GM308M

  • Hornady Match 168 gr BTHP

    Manufacturer number: 2008097
