"Which reputable Gunsmith a precision guarantee?" some may think. Why we see things differently is the subject of this blog.

We believe that anyone who spends a lot of money on a weapon should also know what they are getting into. And since, ultimately, it is usually the accuracy of the weapon (shot group) that counts for the shooter, we believe that a precision guarantee is the only thing that offers reliability here.

Now, some of you may say, "Wait a minute, how can I prove the opposite? If you claim that precision is achieved with selected factory ammunition, I would have to test every conceivable type of ammunition on earth to prove the opposite 🤔..." And, factually speaking, the good man is right.

Since we demand that only top-quality products leave our premises, we test all weapons for accuracy before shipping. The testing procedure is as follows:

  • Depending on the test shooter, shooting is done either lying down or sitting (it doesn't matter, as long as the result is correct!).

  • Front: Two legs

  • Rear: Sandbag

  • Distance: 100 m

  • Number of shots: 5

Then it depends on the caliber. Since we have almost exclusively built 6.5 Creedmoor rifles to date, we will focus on this caliber here (the rest will be added gradually...). At the beginning, i.e., during our first runs, we tested many different types of ammunition. Due to availability and good results, we then agreed on the Lapua 123 gr OTM SCENAR. Since then, all our Barrels have been tested Barrels with this ammunition and must achieve a better result than 0.5 MOA at 5 shots at 100 m (as described above). And lo and behold, so far we haven't had a single Barrel that couldn't achieve this. In practice, it has been shown that the button-rifled Barrels Lothar Walther, which we primarily use, normally deliver these results with the first 5 shots. I'll be honest: sometimes I need another 5 shots – especially when I've had too much coffee 😂

Anyone who still wishes to make a complaint regarding the precision guarantee must do so within one month of receiving the weapon and must not have fired more than 100 rounds. In our opinion, this is absolutely fair, as we specify in advance which factory ammunition can be used to provide proof.
