Wire EDM-ed raceways

Once again, an American term that keeps cropping up in the context of actions. What it means is the subject of this article.

Wire EDM is the American term for wire erosion. This process is used to HST the so-called raceways for HST . We also use this process in-house and can draw on a solid range of machines and extensive experience.

Alternatively, the raceways could also be produced using a process known as profile broaching. For cost reasons, this process is primarily used by well-known large-scale manufacturers. To claim that one process is completely superior to the other would be good for marketing, but it does not correspond to reality. In the case of custom short actions, however, almost all well-known manufacturers rely on wire EDM—just like us.
