What is the reason for HST offering selected calibers?

The HST—at least part of it 😉

You may have noticed that we have a very strict policy when it comes to our caliber range. We do not see ourselves as Gunsmith traditional Gunsmith who offers every conceivable combination of caliber, barrel length, contour, twist, and so on. Instead, we limit ourselves to selected calibers that we are convinced are the best.

Another reason for this policy is the way we Barrels our Barrels . We have invested a great deal of resources in cartridge chamber manufacturing in particular and have developed a unique process that enables us to guarantee precision of less than 0.5 MOA.

This process delivers unbeatable results, but it does involve high initial costs for each new caliber. We therefore carefully consider which calibers we see potential in and decide accordingly what to include in our portfolio.

The following calibers are currently available:

• 6.5 mm Creedmoor

• .308 Winchester

• 6 Dasher (implementation December 2025)

• 6.5 PRC (implementation December 2025)

• 6 BR (implementation approx. January 2026)

• .223 Remington (implementation in spring 2026)
